WINE Tasting Night

Fall is in the air, and Johnson Brothers Distributing has some new and special value wines to try. Mike Gunderson always tries to find wines that will be new to you. It's been a rough summer and we haven't gotten together for a long time, so bring your tasting glasses, your friends, and an open attitude to try something new and learn a little more about this delicious way to serve grapes!

Pick up your monthly wine choices at DISHES. Remember if your credit card changes, date expires, or something changes to let us know so you won't miss out on the monthly choice. You can change your choices - many now are doing both the white and red wine choices just to keep a variety in their home wine rack. With very few exceptions, wine should be available to you the first Friday of every month.

We are planning Holiday Wine Tasting in early November, once we find a date that works for Johnson Brothers and Dishes...stay tuned.

WHY
We want to expand and share first hand knowledge of the many great valued wines available. Throughout the year, we will offer menu items that feature these wines so you will also have a better understanding of food and wine pairings. We will be learning together! We will surprise you with our selection, but when you pick up the wine, information will be available that will give you the facts of the wine we have selected and include the awards the wine may have won.

MEMBER BENEFITS
Each month, we order two wines - a red and a white. We will order value added wines that likely are not available at local outlets, or that are just being introduced locally.

Minimum charge per month is for one bottle . Your credit card will be charged on the first of the month and when you pick up your wine, your receipt will be included. Usually the amount will be less than the $25.00 per bottle, but never more. Let us know how many red or white, supply your credit card info (we'll keep safe) and we will take care of the rest. You join for a minimum of 3 months.

  • As a member you will receive a 10% discount from the price charged to regular Dishes customers.

  • As a member, you can suggest wines that we might bring in and we will do the research to see if our distributor Johnson Brothers has that wine available.

  • As a member, you will be invited to special tastings with wine experts

  • As a member, you will be able to order wines by the case for a discount of 20% off retail. Payment for this wine will be due when the order is placed on Wednesdays for

  • Friday delivery.

To join: Credit card information needed: type, number, name on card, card billing address, 3 numbers on the back. We need this at Dishes by the last Tuesday of the month to place the order.
