- Mike Gunderson of Johnson Brothers Distributing is
guiding us through what wine to serve with our Holiday meals -
we'll try wine with a bite of beef, turkey, and ham and see what
works and what doesn't! You'll be able to order if you want and
pick up the next week.
We should have the December wine in that night, so it would be a
great time to pick up your special wine. We will have time to
order more of this for your gift giving if you want. Frances
Ford Coppola, Director's Cut! There is a special wine glass with
the white wine selection.
All Wine Club members are welcome to this special Holiday
Wine Tasting!
December wines
- here's a hint...We're taking a trip to the movies with Francis
Ford Coppola wines, including his Director's Cut. These wines
will be in for you the 4th of December, Friday. His California
wines are well respected and very good values. You may want to
consider letting us know ahead of time if you're interested in
extra bottles this month - these will be at a good price. I
don't want to spoil the surprise, but the white wine will be a
wonderful gift for people - it includes a wine glass! I order
November 25th, so please let me know if you'd like extra.

WHY
We want to expand and share first hand knowledge of the many great
valued wines available. Throughout the year, we will offer menu items
that feature these wines so you will also have a better understanding of
food and wine pairings. We will be learning together! We will surprise
you with our selection, but when you pick up the wine, information will
be available that will give you the facts of the wine we have selected
and include the awards the wine may have won.
MEMBER BENEFITS
Each month, we order two wines - a red and a white. We will order value
added wines that likely are not available at local outlets, or that are
just being introduced locally.
Minimum charge per month is for one bottle . Your credit card will be
charged on the first of the month and when you pick up your wine, your
receipt will be included. Usually the amount will be less than the
$25.00 per bottle, but never more. Let us know how many red or white,
supply your credit card info (we'll keep safe) and we will take care of
the rest. You join for a minimum of 3 months.

As a member you will
receive a 10% discount from the price charged to regular Dishes
customers.

As a member, you can
suggest wines that we might bring in and we will do the research to
see if our distributor Johnson Brothers has that wine available.

As a member, you will
be invited to special tastings with wine experts

As a member, you will
be able to order wines by the case for a discount of 20% off retail.
Payment for this wine will be due when the order is placed on
Wednesdays for

Friday delivery.

To join: Credit card information needed: type,
number, name on card, card billing address, 3 numbers on the
back. We need this at Dishes by the last Tuesday of the month to
place the order.
